Kristen, teacher: Vocals, Piano
Kristen is a professional singer and teacher on the North Shore of Massachusetts. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, she has a B.A. in Voice and also plays several instruments, including the piano, clarinet, and bassoon. Kristen sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and has performed at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA, Carnegie Hall in New York City, NY, and Ozawa Hall at the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, MA
A semi-finalist in the 2008 Elardo International Opera Competition, Kristen loves being an active performer as well as teaching students of all ages.
Ian, teacher: Piano and Keyboards
Ian Walsh is a professional musical entrepreneur focusing on Piano, Songwriting, and Audio Engineering. He is a published songwriter with songs appearing on Access Hollywood, Dr. 90210, and various other shows.
Under the guidance of his father, Marty Walsh (Berklee Professor and multiple Gold Record winning session guitarist who worked with artists such as Eddie Money, Dolly Parton, LeAnn Rimes, Neil Diamond, Supertramp, and many others), Ian got to experience the professional industry close up and personal at an early age.
Born and raised in Hollywood CA, Ian started taking piano lessons at age 5. At age 12, he and his family moved east to Haverhill MA, where he continued to study piano.
Ian writes and records music for television, movies, and video games, works as a Recording/Mixing Engineer at his home studio, plays piano for a number of local artists, performs at numerous events as a Solo Pianist… He is also a Musical Director (Band Leader), teaches piano, guitar, and bass guitar.
